Founder of Pupil Asset, James Leeds, and one of our educational experts, Steph Reddington, have been featured on Mustard TV where they've been talking about how we work at Pupil Asset. The short documentary (watch below) focuses on the thriving tech industry in the Fine City of Norwich and how it's reputation as a centre for technology and development continues to flourish.
Our software is being used in schools up and down the U.K. (as well as overseas!), and in Norfolk alone, we manage the data of over 80% of schools in the county. As well as providing these schools with their Tracker and MIS systems, we also offer work experience to local students who are looking to gain valuable insight into the world of technology. In previous years, we've introduced students to different coding languages and built interactive maps of their schools using our software.
This year, we are a proud sponsor of the SyncDevelopHER Awards in Cambridge, an evening which celebrates all the wonderful women in tech across East Anglia. SyncDevelopHER are an organisation who support women in tech. They run regular meet-ups, talks and events to help promote women in the technology industry. Developers from our tech team have also run web design, HTML and CSS courses at SyncDevelopHER's Code Club for girls (and boys!) aged 11-18.
Alongside many other companies in and around Norfolk, we do everything we can to support the local tech industry. Mustard TV have summarised this perfectly in their short documentary about the 'Boost for technical innovation in Norwich. Watch the short video below!
